The Girls From Brooklyn
Visit Madison Avenue West
Before filming started for Season 2 of the Indie Web Series, Brooklyn Is In Love, we decided to have some of the actresses from the show come in to Madison Avenue West Salon to prep for their upcoming press photo shoot on January 29, 2012.  We cut and colored each of them, the applied their makeup and took some test shots.  Here's a sneak peek at some of your favorite characters'  new looks!  We think they look fabulous!

I used only TIGI Cosmetics for each of the girls' makeup application, and will be adding detailed information about which specific makeup products I used on each model, all with links to their individual pages on our site to make purchasing easier for you.  I can tell you that I used TIGI's Mineral Tint as a mositurizing base on ALL of them before started their makeup application.  If you haven't tried Mineral Tint yet, you MUST!!  It is an amazing product!

We had a super fun day working with these talented young (and gorgeous) women, and look forward to the next time.  Check back soon for more news, photos, and information about the upcoming Season of Producer/Director Danielle Earle's Brooklyn Is In Love

Miranda McCauley
We took Miranda to a whole new level of HOTness!  We started by coloring her hair a light copper-brown to compliment her creamy skin tones, and the vibrancy of the color also makes her gorgeous blue eyes pop!

For her makeup, we used golds, bronzes and corals, all from our TIGI Cosmetics line.

Miranda's Makeup:We used only TIGI Cometics for this makeover.I began by applying TIGI Mineral Tint in Natural Glow, followed by a light dusting of Powder Foundation in Shi Shi. For her eyeliner, I used Perfect Eyeliner in Brown on her top lid and Chocolate Single Eyeshadow  on her lower lash line.  For her brows, I used both the wax and powder in the Blonde Brow Sculpting Duo (applied with an Angle Brush) to fill in and extend the outer edge further. Before applying eyeshadow, I covered her upper lid to the brow with Perfect Eyeshadow Base.  On her eyelids I used the lighter gold in the Posh High Density Eyeshadow Quad in her crease and on the outer third of her eyelid, and the light beige in Posh on the rest of her eyelid (both applied with Shading Brush), then I used a Blending Brush to apply Champagne Single Eyeshadow to her brow bone and to blend colors.  I then added a bit of Green Single Eyeshadow over her brown eyeliner on her top lid, and on the outer third of her lower lash line. Her lashes were lengthened with TIGI Lash Love Black Mascara. Using a Powder Brush, I lightly applied TIGI Bronzer to the apples of her cheeks, then applied a light dusting to her cheekbones, forehead, temples, nose and chin. We finished her look with Lip Creme in Madrid, and a touch of  Luxe Lipgloss in Your Highness to the center of both lips, applied with a Lip Brush.

Unfortunately, Katjana Gerz's management requested that we remove her photos.

Nadia Serantes
Since Nadia Plays a Jazz Singer on the show, we decided to really jazz her up!  We added some soft copper lowlights into her hair, and used bright eye and lip colors to give her a super chic look!
Can you say "WOW"?

Nadia's Makeup:We used only TIGI Cometics for this makeover.I began by applying TIGI Mineral Tint in Cameo Glow, followed by a light dusting of Powder Foundation in Allure. For her eyeliner, I used Perfect Eyeliner in Black on her upper and lower lash lines. For her brows, I used both the wax and powder in the Brunette Brow Sculpting Duo (applied with an Angle Brush) to fill in, extend the outer edge further, and give her a fuller brow in general. Before applying eyeshadow, I covered her upper lid to the brow with Perfect Eyeshadow Base. On her eyelids I used the deep rose eyeshadow in the Lush High Density Eyeshadow Quad in her crease and on the outer third of her eyelid and about halfway up her brow bone, and the turquoise in Lush on the rest of her eyelid (both applied with Shading Brush), then I used a Blending Brush to apply the silver eyeshadow in the Last Call High Density Eyeshadow Quad to her brow bone and to blend colors.  Her lashes were lengthened with TIGI Lash Love Black Mascara. Using a Powder Brush, I lightly applied Glow Blush in Lovely to the apples of her cheeks, then applied a light dusting to her cheekbones, forehead, temples, nose and chin. I finished her look by applying Perfect Lipliner in Kiss to her entire lip, over-drawing her top lip to slightly exagerate her bow, then I applied Decadent Lipstick in Passion, and a touch of Luxe Lipgloss in Superficial to the center of both lips, applied with a Lip Brush.
